What this service keeps about you, why, for how long, and who can see it.
Tags are one-way hashes protected by a secret key kept on the server, not in the database. A copy of the database alone reveals nothing. Someone who had both the database and that key could still test addresses one by one to see whether one matches, so the key is kept private and every backup is encrypted.
